04-14-2026:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since the last update, I have been working on a section about modem traders, calling cards and phreaking. I have spoken with several prominent sceners who were deeply involved in that side of the scene, and it has given me a lot of strong material and useful first-hand detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One group I especially wanted to reach was Crystal. I first tried to contact them around eleven years ago, and over Easter I finally managed to establish contact with a few of Crystal\u2019s key members, including founder and cracker I.B.M.
